MembersBecoming MemberTo become a WBEA member, please download the application form and the WBEA Declaration below. Please fill in the necessary information and provide your signature where indicated. The completed forms can be scanned and emailed to info@worldbea.com, or faxed to 1-604-273-0546 (Vancouver, BC, Canada). A WBEA representative will contact you via telephone or email to confirm receipt of both completed forms, thereafter you may wire transfer the annual membership fees to the WBEA bank account. The wire transfer information form can be downloaded below. Individual MemberIndividual members may include any individual over the age of nineteen (19) that is in absolute agreement with the principles and objectives of WBEA. Each individual member is entitled to one vote. The annual fee for individual members is $500. Corporate MemberCorporate members may include any professional leader or members representing a public or private company, which is in absolute agreement with the principles and objectives of WBEA. Each corporate member is entitled to one vote. The annual fee for corporate members is $2000. Association MemberAssociation members may include any professional leader or members representing a public or private organization, for-profit, non-profit, or charitable, which is in absolute agreement with the principles and objectives of WBEA. Each association member is entitled to one vote. The annual fee for association members is $5000. Restrictions and Lapsing / Termination of MembershipWBEA memberships are not transferable. A membership lapses and ceases to exist when any member ceases to be a member by resignation, death, or if a member ceases to be actively involved with the Association for six (6) months. All memberships shall expire on the date such for such expiry each year as determined by the Board of Directors of WBEA. Any member who is delinquent in payment of any financial obligations to WBEA for six (6) months will automatically be suspended from participating in any activities of WBEA until the arrears are paid in full. Any member who breaks any by-law or rule of WBEA may be suspended by majority vote of the Board for such time and on such terms as the Board shall deem fit under the circumstances. |
